GreenFLEX established the Oregon field history. HDBS redeveloped and improved that concrete-SIP lineage and now manufactures the current product as VallDURA™. The GreenFLEX name remains where historical projects, test reports, and patents require it; current product identity, evaluated configuration, labeling, and certification are governed by Twining Evaluation Report TCI-0001.
If you’re a homeowner, a custom-home builder, or a commercial contractor — and you’re looking for a more integrated wall system with documented third-party evaluation — VallDURA™ was built for that conversation.
A durable, high-performance wall approach built around continuous EPS insulation and reinforced cementitious facings — supported by third-party evaluated structural, fire, water-penetration, and durability data.
Integrate structure, continuous insulation, and reinforced cementitious facings in a factory-built panel. Fewer separately installed wall components can simplify sequencing and help protect schedule and margin.
Repeatable factory-built wall panels with documented design values, traceability, and third-party surveillance — fewer field variables and a clearer technical submittal path.
VallDURA™ combines a 6-inch EPS core, reinforced cementitious facings, and integral cold-formed steel top and bottom tracks in the configuration evaluated under TCI-0001. Final project finishes, weather-barrier assemblies, connections, and structural design follow approved documents, manufacturer instructions, and AHJ requirements.
VallDURA™ uses a continuous EPS core through the panel field, reducing the stud-bridge effect common to conventional framed walls. The current certified configuration is governed by Twining Evaluation Report TCI-0001.
Fewer separately installed wall components can mean fewer field steps and a more controlled assembly. Actual labor, schedule, envelope performance, and project cost depend on design, sealing, finishes, site conditions, and installation.
Certified structural and fire-performance values come from TCI-0001. Thermal R-values shown here are manufacturer / legacy data and are identified separately.
R-18 / R-26 / R-31 are manufacturer / GreenFLEX legacy thermal values referenced in the technical briefing; they are not stated in TCI-0001. The current TCI-0001 evaluated configuration uses a 6-inch EPS core with approximately .375-inch facings on both sides. Project energy performance must be confirmed for the approved assembly.
VallDURA™ Building Method
A short introduction for owners, builders, and partners. Click through for the full plain-language page explaining how HDBS post-frame construction projects can incorporate VallDURA™ panels.
For Central Oregon builders and owners, the method is practical: an engineered post-supported structure combined with factory-built VallDURA™ wall panels, continuous EPS insulation, and project-specific connections and finishes.
Twining Consulting Inc. issued Evaluation Report TCI-0001 for VallDURA™ Concrete Structural Insulated Panels under its ISO/IEC 17065 product-certification procedures. The report was first published in August 2026 and the product remains subject to ongoing surveillance under ISO/IEC 17020.
Date First Published: August 2026 · Renewal Due By: February 2027 · Official report received by HDBS August 28, 2026.
TCI-0001 evaluates VallDURA™ for the stated structural, fire, water-penetration, durability, and weather-protection properties. Project-specific use remains subject to the locally adopted code, approved construction documents, the registered design professional, and the authority having jurisdiction.

VallDURA™ is designed around an integrated, durable wall system: continuous EPS insulation, reinforced cementitious facings, and factory-controlled production. The value case is fewer field-installed components, durable materials, and performance that can be reviewed against documented data.
TCI-0001 reviews durability and environmental evidence for the reinforced cementitious facings, including weathering, freeze-thaw, salt-spray, and water-penetration testing. Final service life depends on project design, exposure, finishes, and maintenance.
The EPS core runs continuously through the panel field, reducing conventional stud thermal bridging. Whole-building energy performance still depends on joints, sealing, openings, roof/floor assemblies, HVAC design, and installation.
Reinforced cementitious facings and an EPS core avoid many moisture-decay mechanisms associated with wood-based sheathings. Final maintenance requirements depend on the approved exterior/interior finish systems and exposure conditions.
The GreenFLEX legacy product lineage has a 300+ structure field history, including homes, park models, commercial buildings, agricultural buildings, and workforce housing in extreme climates. VallDURA™ is the current HDBS product identity and is separately governed by TCI-0001.
Our HDBS design team works in CAD and SketchUp to help visualize and plan your build before panels are ordered. VallDURA™ wall-system requirements, project-specific structural design, finishes, and code conditions are coordinated into the design path from the start.
Structural engineering support for HDBS / VallDURA™ projects, including foundation, framing, load-path, wind, seismic, and diaphragm design coordination.
